1 Wimpole Street, conference and meeting venue and home to the Royal Society of Medicine, will host all eight Event Tech Talks 2017, organiser Event Industry News has confirmed.
Taking place between February and October, with a carefully tailored panel of experts at each, the first two sessions in the series focused on Artificial Intelligence and ROI drawing capacity audiences to the venue, which sits just off Oxford Street.
Up next, on 25 April, is a collaboration with Event Tech Lab, which will see four start-ups given three minutes each to pitch the audience with the benefits of their event tech solutions.
Afterwards, a five-strong panel featuring Matt Hayward, DRP Digital’s Senior Account Manager, Adam Jones, Director at Digital Products Freeman EMEA, Adam Price, Business Development Executive for DB Pixelhouse, James Morgan, Director at Event Tech Lab, and Swarm Co-Founder Tim Manning, will discuss ‘How to get started with AR and VR on a budget’.
Adam Parry, director at Event Industry News and co-founder of Event Tech Live, comments: “As much as anything else, Event Tech Talks is about bursting the perception of exclusivity around the theory and practice of technology, which is actually there to simplify and improve the event process, for all.
“Through Event Tech Live and the Event Tech Awards (ETA) we have built up a phenomenal roster of speakers who are happy to explain the latest processes and innovations, at any level. We’re covering a broad range of subjects between now and October, 1 Wimpole Street won Most Innovative and Tech-friendly Venue at last year’s ETA, and response/reaction has been everything we’d hoped for.”
Kevin McLoughlin, AV Manager at 1 Wimpole Street, said:
“We were delighted to be approached to host Event Tech Talks. It’s a rubber stamp of approval from a highly respected source and an excellent opportunity to showcase our technical services in front of knowledgeable and tech-savvy attendees.’
